Dr. Gregory Wilson
Dr. Gregory A. Wilson is an Assistant Professor of English at St. John's University in New York, all of which is a fancy way of saying that he gets paid for teaching and studying the works he loves the most--drama in particular. He teaches courses and presents papers on drama from all eras, though his particular specialty is Renaissance drama and the court masque. He also writes plays (in addition to other fiction) and has acted and directed in the past in both musical and non-musical theater--he assumes he got the theater bug from his mother, who performed in off-Broadway productions and toured with the travelling company of The Sound of Music during the sixties. He currently lives in the Bronx with his wife Clea and their "theatrical" dog Lilo, and can be reached at gw@gregoryawilson.com. |
