Dr. Gregory Wilson

Gregory Wilson
Dr. Gregory A. Wilson is Professor of English at St. John's University in New York, all of which is a fancy way of saying that he gets paid for teaching and studying the works he loves the most, including drama. He teaches courses and presents papers on drama from all eras, though his particular specialty is Renaissance drama and the court masque. He also writes plays and has acted and directed in the past in both musical and non-musical theater. He assumes he got the theater bug from his mother, who performed in off-Broadway productions and toured with the travelling company of The Sound of Music during the sixties. His first academic book, The Problem in the Middle: Liminal Space and the Court Masque, was published by Clemson University in 2007, and his first novel, a work of fantasy entitled The Third Sign, was published by Five Star Press in 2009; his graphic novel Icarus and novel Grayshade, both beginning series, have just been published. He currently lives in the Bronx with his wife Clea, daughter Senavene, and son Calen, and can be reached via his website: http://www.gregoryawilson.com.
